BattlEye changes do happen, but DayZ is a very established scene and experienced providers are used to maintaining around game and BE updates. If a build needs work, it simply enters maintenance until the updated version is ready.

BattlEye catches cheats, but DayZ has never exactly been known for having a cheater free Official experience. The scene around the game has existed for a very long time, and maintained private products are a completely different story from public or pasted releases that get burned quickly.
The bigger difference in DayZ is often the server itself. BattlEye is only one layer of the equation.

This matters more in DayZ than in most games. Official servers rely much more heavily on automated enforcement, while established Community servers can have active admins watching logs, reviewing clips, handling tickets and issuing their own server bans.
That means two servers running the same game and BattlEye can still feel completely different from an enforcement perspective.

DayZ is an information heavy game, so ESP is king. Player positions are only part of it. Good products can also show weapons, inventories, valuable loot, vehicles, containers, stashes and other entities that would normally take hours to find.
