Setting up Cherax is a quick and straightforward process.

Step 1 — Access Your Dashboard

Visit the official Cherax dashboard:

Log in to your account and access your product information.

Step 2 — Download Cherax

Download the latest version available through your dashboard.

Step 3 — Launch Cherax

Open Cherax and log in using your account details.

Step 4 — Configure Your Settings

Once launched, customize your preferred options, interface layout, and available settings.

Step 5 — Start Using Cherax

After setup is complete, Cherax will be ready to use with your selected configuration.

Cherax Is Not Injecting

If Cherax is not injecting, try the following fixes:

• Make sure BattlEye is disabled in the Rockstar Launcher.

• If you are using Steam or Epic Games, disable BattlEye by adding the launch option:

  -nobattleye
  

• Add the Cherax application and Cherax Documents folder to your Windows Defender exclusions.

• Third-party antivirus software may still interfere even when disabled.

• Run Cherax as Administrator.

• Delete the Cherax folder from your Documents folder and try again.

• Remove OneDrive if it is causing permission issues with your Documents folder.

If Cherax crashes while injecting:

• Check the Cherax log files for “Failed to Find Patterns” errors.
• Disable HDR in Windows Display Settings.
• Verify your GTA game files.
• Delete the Cherax folder from Documents and restart the setup.

If Cherax is not injecting, try the following fixes:

• Make sure BattlEye is disabled in the Rockstar Launcher.
• If you are using Steam or Epic Games, disable BattlEye by adding the launch opti

GTA Fatal Error

If GTA displays a fatal error:

• This is usually caused by corrupted game files or system issues.
• Search the exact error code/message shown.
• Verify your GTA game files.
• Restart your system and try again.

If you receive a Curl error:

• Try connecting through a VPN.
• Disable or remove any third-party antivirus software.

Getting BattlEye Kicked Without Cherax Running

If you are being kicked by BattlEye without Cherax running:

• You likely joined a public lobby where BattlEye was active.
• Wait 12–24 hours for the kick issue to clear.
• Join lobbies where BattlEye is disabled.

If the Cherax folder is not located in Documents:

Check your C: drive.
Cherax may create the folder there if Documents permissions fail.
OneDrive can interfere with Documents folder access and prevent the folder from appearing.
